Default Aprilia RSV4 Fuel Tank Bulging/ Ripples

Just like some Ducati owners and their fuel tanks I knew that the RSV4 had some issues but like Ducati I figured the problem was probably from Ethanol use and nothing more.

Well I was wrong, because I don't use Ethanol and my tank on my RSV4 Factory has started rippling along the bottom on the left hand side. After doing some investigating I've found that the engine is actually closer on the left hand side to the frame (3/4 of an inch) then on the right side (2 inches) so I suspect that heat is the culprit and I'm not sure what if anything will prevent this from happening even if I did get a new tank.
