Default Aprilia RSV4 Gearing Guide

First off let me say I'm pretty happy with the gearing that the RSV4 comes stock with but I also frequent some tracks that have lots of corners and straights that are relatively short so gearing could be shortened to better suit the V4.

Below are 2 PDF guides to help you understand how changing the front and rear sprockets will effect the Aprilia RSV4.

On my RSV4 Factory the sweet spot is 6K because that's where the Variable Intake trumpets kick in so 6K or above is where I want to stay on any particular track.

By using these guides I've ordered a 520 D.I.D ERV3 chain and both a 15 and 16 tooth front sprocket along with a 40 and 41 tooth rear sprocket. Stock is 16/40 so I think these 4 sprockets will be a good starting point and I'll update this thread with some real world numbers and thoughts of the different combinations.
